Holcomb Valley

Holcomb Valley was once thriving with activity during the gold rush of the 1860s. The area still supports a number of rare and unique species and their special habitats. Some of the landmarks that still exist is the Arrastres (gold ore grinder), Ross' Grave, Hangman's Tree and Lucky Baldwin mine. The above is a photo from Holcomb Valley, this small pond was formed completely from snow melt that pooled. Very awesome.
